Comic Stall At Wincanton Craft Fair & Table Top Sale

 I attended a craft fair on November 1st to see how I would get on with my health and to get my comic art out there. Unfortunately it was very quiet due to being in a tucked away location at a time where other events where going on in the high street, but I did get some interest and also queries on whether I would do commissions so I am going to set that up over at Paracosm Arts (my general art and design stuff).

Socially it was good to see some friends and monitor my health - I was in a migraine phase and took meds to help me through but unfortunately I had some mobility issues later on with the FND causing shaking. That said I did manage a few hours out successfully in spite of feeling unwell and I am proud of myself for that. Also I liked how my stall looked, and now I can work on managing my health issues, doing rehab etc to hopefully do the bath and west showground comic con September 2026 if my application is accepted. Fingers crossed!

Due to the UK online safety act adult content shops are now blocked from the UK and for some reason Itchio haven’t implemented an ID system to access mature content shops on their site. As a result my shop cannot be accessed in the UK, BUT if you go to the website and type in Paracosm Comics in the search box, my comics will show up in the results and you can purchase that way. They may catch this workaround in the future but for now UK users can still purchase my comics if you use this method.

Hi, my name is Bex and I am the creator of The Sanctuary comic - for more about the comic click on the link above!

 I created Paracosm Comics to publish my comic under, and chose the name for the meaning, a Paracosm being a detailed fantasy world created in ones mind, often from childhood. 

I am a disabled, queer, ADHD and Autistic Creative and have complex support needs. My comic is a way to both express my self and I hope bring some money in to help fund my passion and put towards supporting myself. The comic is a form of Art therapy for me to process trauma, feelings and channel pent up emotions I feel unable to express elsewhere safely. 

The Sanctuary is a mature content adults only comic due to the explicit content, and themes including but not limited to sex, swearing and gore.
